Too Lazy to Think of a Clever Title

Tuesday already?  I know I say this all the time, but really folks, where the F**k does the time go?  And if so much time has passed, why don't I have more to show for it? 

I did have a nice weekend; spent Saturday saying goodbye to summer.  It was in the 90's here and it was a weekend; I had to spend it in the pool!  Really, what choice did I have?  I even stayed in there after I was ready to get out because I knew it was my last day of pool floating for the year and I was determined to get in every minute I could.  I'm really glad I did too, because the weather took a turn on Sunday and Fall is definitely here.  As soon as it stops raining, I have to go pull the plug on the pool.  That always makes me sad :-(

After getting out of the pool, I brought Alice downstairs and started what I had planned to be just a bit of spinning.  Ha!  Who did I think I was fooling?  Apparently, spinning is as addictive as knitting; who knew?  I ended up spinning for several hours, stopping only long enough to grab something to eat.  Pictures when I finish; I've spun about 3 of the 4 oz. I have of  this fiber.

I finished Clover's first sweater this weekend.  Can you guys handle another picture of Tina?  I hope so, because she's doing the modeling.

I'm very happy with how this came out, and Samm's happy with it too (she even said Tina doesn't look quite so freaky with a hood on).

Pattern:  Knitting Pure and Simple Baby Tunic
Yarn:  Plymouth Jelli Beenz., color 6201
Needles:  Addi's 6 & 8 circular; and dpn same sizes

I made a little, teensy, tiny baby sock out of some of the left over yarn.  I'll show you a picture when I make the second one.  Hopefully, it's not so small that it won't fit.

Eye Candy Friday (and an end to the suspense)

Pebbles Kayla

I was just looking through some of my photos and came across this picture I took about a month ago.  This is my great-niece, Kayla.  Isn't she adorable? I just love the way my niece puts her hair up like that.

A lot of you have asked where I found Tina; I won't leave you in suspense any longer.  I found her lying face down on the floor near the bathroom door.  Pretty anti-climatic, no?  That's really pretty tame for the hubby; I have a feeling he may not be done.   He once put a big picture of someone's face in my bathroom window.  I found it when I opened the shade; it was dark out and it looked like someone was looking in the window.  I just about shit my pants with that one!  I think I'll be keeping my guard up for a while.

As for knitting, I've completed the body and hood of Clover's sweater and have started the first sleeve.  I'm guessing it'll be an FO later tonight or tomorrow morning.  Pictures once it's done.

I guess I should have thought of the possibility that hubby would read my blog yesterday. 

I know he's read it in the past, but I kind of forgot about it until later in the afternoon.  I didn't think he read it regularly, and actually, I don't really know if he does read it regularly.

What I do know is - he read it yesterday.

What makes matters worse is that Tina is now missing. 

You realize what this means, don't you?  She'll turn up when I least expect it and I'll jump out of my skin and probably have a heart attack. 

This is not the way this was supposed to go!

I blame this on Dana; she's the one who gave me the idea.  Once the idea was in my head, I had no choice; I had to do it.

I'm not sure which will freak out hubby more; the fact that Tina is hanging in his closet or the fact that I've disturbed  the hangers and they are no longer EXACTLY the same distance apart ;-)
