A few of the flowers in the yard this week.

Yellow flowers whose name I don't know. This is part of a HUGE bush that started as a teensy tiny clipping given to me by the father of a co-worker about 16 or 17 years ago. He used to bring flowers from his garden in to our office and I mentioned how much I liked this one. Next thing I knew, I had a clipping. This beautiful bush flowers for most of the summer; there is a short period of time when the flowers die and fall off, but shortly after that it is covered again with the beautiful yellow flowers.

Finally, things are starting to flower around here.

These are some of the blossoms on my Weeping Crabapple tree. 

It sits in the middle of my front yard where I can look out the window while in my knitting spot on the couch and enjoy its beauty.

I love this tree, which was a Mother's Day gift several years ago.

Unfortunately, in a few days the flowers will have all died; they don't last nearly long enough!
