I finished a scarf for the Red Scarf project.
Crocheted with 1 1/4 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash, color 893 (a much deeper, richer red than this photo would have you believe) on size H crochet hook. No pattern; just a few rows of half-double crochets on each end with the rest being double crochet. Easy peasy.
Did you hear that the deadline for scarves has been extended? You now have until the first week of January to mail your scarves; that means there is still time to make one if you want to help out.

Oh that's good to hear! I heard about the shortfall and wanted to help, but my two existing extra scarves didn't meet the criteria and I had no red yarn in my stash that would work (it's all either too fat or too thin or too already assigned)and not enough time before the deadline to make one.
Now I have time so I'm going to buy red sport weight!
