Remember going to slumber parties as kids?
Staying up all night, eating tons of junk food, laughing and giggling with the girls, playing games.
Those were some good times, weren't they?
Why should all that fun be left to kids? It shouldn't, and it wasn't this past weekend.
Patti, Sharon, Eileen, Carol, and I decided to have a slumber party at Sharon's house. It was a typical girls' slumber party. We laughed, we giggled, we played games (knit & spin), we ate (and ate and ate and ate). The only thing we didn't do was stay up all night. Wait, we also didn't play Truth or Dare; hmmmm, maybe next time.
We never left Sharon's house from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.
Not only was it a fun weekend, it was a productive weekend.
To top off the weekend, I got home and received this from Clover:
I'll end with a picture of Clover's finished socks. I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd sock yarn for this tiny pair of socks.
They fit her perfectly and she loves them - I call that a success!
That looks like great fun!

What a fantastic weekend you had! You got so much done too.
The pencil holder that Clover made for you is wonderful. I bet you'll treasure it always.

It looks like you had so much fun! But not leaving the house for two days?? That was more than a slumber party - more like you all were trying to move into Sharon's house! She finally had to kick you out on Sunday, huh?

I am not sure that seeing myself was a true thrill but you did a great job on the pics. It was a great weekend.

Just me again. For some reason I did not see the pics from the beginning. Great pencil box, the cutest socks. You made it sound like we worked our little fingers to the bone. Notice no one else posted all the work they got done at our slumber party.

We keep talking about doing a knit night slumber party... and watching this movie called "puppetry of the pen1s", wherein people manipulate their parts to make other things, like the sidney opera house. Sounds really hilarious, and a little disturbing.

Wow...now that's what I call a great weekend! It looks like you had a ball and I'm happy for you. Also, I love the pencil cup; Clover does great work. :)
