With the end of Labor Day weekend came the end of the massive crowds at the beach.
Samm took Clover to enjoy some time at the nearly empty beach and beach playground on Wednesday afternoon.
Quite a different site than just a week ago (quite a bit cooler too!) Do you recognize the hat, Sharon?
Here's Clover making rain out of sand (if you listen closely, you can hear her saying "rain" and "raining").

I've never worn a knit hat to the ocean beach - but I have worn one to the lake beach, usually when the lake is frozen. :)

Clover looks like she had a great time!
That's my favorite beach is the entire world. My aunt used to own a house on Ocean Ave Ext. She was crazy to have sold it in the late 60's. We used to go up quite often. I can still remember watching the lobster boats in the morning.
