Look who's a big girl now.
Clover got her first "big girl bed" a couple weeks ago. She got right in it and went right to sleep. It took her a while to start sleeping through the night in it, but she's getting pretty good at it now.
This is what her Mommy and Daddy found in the morning after her first full night in the bed:
Yes, she's sound asleep in that position.
Silly girl!
Cute!!! Love the Dora bed. My boy sleeps the same way- all over the bed and sometimes half off.

I remember that stage so well! The Princess was escaping from her crib nearly every night and eventually her trampoline arts rendered it a broken mess.

Oh my goodness! Ben has done the same thing! Fallen asleep standing up...against the couch, on the stairs, etc. It's so cute -but, man, it's looks umcomfortable!

Ah, to be young again and sleep any way, anywhere, any when!
So cute!

Awww. My husband and I used to marvel at the crazy positions my girls would sleep in. It's so cute but looks so uncomfortable.

Doncha think that bed needs a few more stuffed animals? I mean, there's still room for Clover in there.

She's got a big girl bed already! Love the way she sleeps - think she could get any more stuffed animals in there???
She's too cute sleeping standing up...Tara used to just fall asleep where ever she was whether standing, sitting or laying down...

Okay, let me start by saying that I've had an insane couple of months here. Work has been incredibly busy with one bankruptcy case after another. I've been fighting (and alternately winning and losing) a new bout of herniated disk with my lower back (I've had two previous spinal surgeries in '95 and '01). Most days, I'm half-stoned on painkillers. Yesterday, I forgot to mention to my boss that while she was out, the local court called and scheduled an emergency detention hearing. She went to court and was "reamed" by the judge (and she had NO CLUE she was supposed to have been there - - thanks to my oversight). Lucky for me, she is a forgiving soul and it all worked out okay. The festival is three weeks away and Dianne and I have been (happily) working around the clock on that too. I came home yesterday feeling overwhelmed, a little achy and stressed. I walked into the kitchen and there on the table was a letter with Sam's return address. "Sam? What could she possibly be sending me?", I thought. I opened the envelope and INSTANTEOUSLY, everything was right in the world. :) I felt a thousand times better and I grinned from ear-to-ear admiring Clover's "Happy Earth Day" card. It made my day, my week & my month! It's sitting right now on my coffee table where I can look at Clover's smiling face. Monday, the "Earth Abstract" will be going to the office with me.
THANK YOU ALL so much! The card is completely delightful and I LOVE IT! Thanks for the unexpected and wonderful "reaffirmation" & pick-me up. :)

P.S. The Dora bed is precious and she looks like a little cherub in it. :) My kids were "bed thrashers/trashers" too, so I giggled out loud when I saw the morning after photo.
Please give Clover a big hug & kiss from me.

I'd sleep like that if the cats would give me room to move to the edge. I wonder how they'd feel if I got a Dora bed? I doubt I'd look quite so cute in it, though...

Honestly — Clover could win prizes for cuteness. Love the pics.
