The good news is - I’m done
Yarn: Plymouth Baby Alpaca Brush Paint, Color 8818
Needles: size 5 for all
I started a pair of socks to put in Jay’s stocking as soon as I finished the hat, I may still be able to finish them if my hands get better (they’re worsted weight), but I’m not going to stress over it; I can finish them later. I had planned another pair of worsted socks for my BIL and a pair of fingerless mitts for a co-worker, but those are definitely out. I’m hoping I’ll be able to spin, but maybe a break for a day or two would be a good idea. I could use that time to catch up on my blog reading – I’m so far behind!
And now, I’ll leave you with a picture of the cutest cheerleader around:
Clover Grace – 5 days old (last Saturday night)
She looks really big in all her pictures, but she's really a peanut. A very cute peanut :-)
The hat sets came out great. I'm sorry about your hand.
Clover is so cute in that outfit - but maybe even cuter in a Colts outfit! (JK)

Sorry about the hand pain. Ugh. Clover is indeed the cutest cheerleader I've ever seen.

Love the picture of Clover as a Pats fan! The first Christmas my (Cape Cod)Aunt became a grandmother she sent everyone pictures of her first grandchild in a red sox outfit!
I'm so sorry to hear about your hand. Take it easy and rest it up. That's way more important than anyting else (like hats or socks).

OH MY LORD, go Patriots, that is the cutest thing I've ever seen! That's a bummer about your hand, I hope it gets better very soon!

That's terrible about your thumb. It does sound like you have been knitting way to much. Clover is very cute. I love the outfit.

Sorry about your hand...and your knitting time...
Are Samm and you ready for a break from Clover, so I can bring her up to NH for a week...? Well, I think she'd like NH....besides I just want to cuddle her cute little self!!!!

I've got a nephew who's 2 weeks old who's the apple of his Auntie La's eye. We should get these 2 kids together!

Sorry about your hand. One of mine becomes painful every so often when I knit too much, but not as bad as yours -- yikes! Still, I feel your pain. At least you get to look at Clover.

The thumb thing is a good excuse to slow down and enjoy your new granddaughter. I hope it's better soon.
Did you hear that Franklin is doing a 1,000 knitters shoot in Brunswick on the 22nd? Want to go and get our pictures taken?

Sorry to hear about your hand! :( I'm glad you got those cute hats and mitts done at least.

Hmm...it sounds like the digits have decided to let you know that it is time for a break. Too bad, though. I hate it when my body makes the decisions for me!! Drives me nuts.
But, you've got an awfully cute little cheerleader, there. Hard to be down with Clover there to lead you in a happy chant, right?

She is wicked cute and does look big in the pics! My hands have ached on occasion from overknitting these past few weeks... but I'm nowhere near done! Sometimes Aleve helps (I haven't taken it in a while, but sometimes I do). My latest favorite thing is this great ache rub from Maine Coast Herbals, it's greasy though and not for use while knitting! Do hand/finger stretches help? For me laying off sugar helps a bit too.

Sorry to read about your arthritis; hope you feel better soon! Clover, as always, is adorable! The hats and mittens are adorable. You did a great job (now take care of yourself too). ;)

I love checking in to see the "cute" baby pictures.

The hat/mitten sets are adorable. Nice job!
I'm sorry to hear about the flare up. Sending you good healing vibes that it heals up quickly.
Go Patriots! (SO cute)

The mittens and hats are just as cute as they can be. I hope you hand is feeling better by now. That Clover is just a little Princess, isn't she? I just love dark haired babies, there is just something about dark hair and fair skin, she just looks like Snow White.
