Here's a picture of what I woke up to this morning:
Hubby had to force the door open to get inside to get the snow brush and ice scraper:
Hmmm, where am I while they're all out there shovelling? Inside staying warm, of course.
I finally finished my Dad's birthday socks this morning. His birthday was Thursday, but he was busy then anyway so it's okay that I didn't finish until today. He loves thems (good thing considering all the grief they caused me).

I managed to put the right zipper in my Big Balls sweater on Thursday night. It's not perfect, but it's a good as I can do. I love this sweater!
I don't, however, love having my picture taken. What a stupid look I have on my face. Just look at the sweater, okay.

It feels really good to have two more projects off the needles! Perhaps the Faina's scarf will see the light of day again. That might be nice since I'm supposed to be doing this as part of a knit along. I think I'll work on it for a while today and maybe start a baby sweater tonight for some mindless knitting. Faina takes complete concentration so she can't go to work with me tomorrow. I'd totally screw it up if I got interrupted in the middle of a row.
I've got a couple other pictures for you:
Aren't they cute? Rico really does love that little t-shirt. He'll walk around all day in it. Cindy wants to know why she doesn't get a t-shirt (or maybe she's wondering what's wrong with Rico that he likes wear t-shirts, especially peach colored t-shirts).
Sorry you are having such lousy weather. Your sweater looks great! I have never seen a cat so content in a T-shirt.

Great weather today, huh? Bleck! But the sweater looks great as do the socks. However, I'm simply stumped as to how you got a cat into a t-shirt. Mine won't even wear a flea collar! They're my little nudists...

LOVE LOVE LOVE the sweater! And i love Rico's t-shirt -- wherever did you get it? Lilah needs one. So you don't do snow either, huh? lol

Love your tee wearing kitty man! I once tried to put a plan collar on Pumpkin and he freaked out so bad he almost hung himself - what's you secrect for dealing with fashion resistant kitties? :)

You look fantastic in the sweater! I'm doing my best to get mine done ASAP! The socks came out great....are you partially blind from all that "static" yarn? At least they're done and they're pretty cool! See you soon!!!!

Wow, your Big Balls sweater came out great! Would love to see it on Saturday... and the sock yarn you picked is beautiful. Don't you wish that you could really touch the yarns we see in blogland?

Rico in a peach argyle! Whoa, Rico Suave! I also managed not to shovel. But I claimed laundry, vac, mop, etc. The sweater is wonderful. Your pic isn't bad either...

Your sweater is fabulous!! The zipper looks good to me. And Rico! Ha!! Too funny. I think Cindy probably has a similar expression to what Chaos and May have right now - WTF, Rico?!
Sorry to see all that snow - I can definitelyl relate to your pain. :( At least it melts fast at this time of year!

BRRRRRR! Good thing you got that sweater knit to keep you warm. And that sweater does look PERFECT on you! Looks like the zipper must have gone smoothly huh?

I'm starting to wonder about Rico myself.

*Thank You* for posting a photo that tells the truth about spring! I was getting tired of all these blossoming trees and gardens that the southern knitters are posting. I showed Chris your photos and said, "Now here is a girl that feels my pain!"
Your sweater looks wonderful on you, but I'm afraid Rico has stolen this post with that peach T-shirt. Too cute for words!!

Love the sweater! I have never put a zipper in a sweater. Was it hard?
Rico is a goofball! I can't get Rico Suave out of my mind now.
